One year olds are the most wonderful little people you’ll ever meet. Funny, charming, full of expression and they love to perform and make you smile! It’s a joy for me to capture their little personalities right before they move on to the next stage. Because very soon they won’t be babies, they’ll be toddlers!
I work hard to make your shoot as unique and special as your baby is. As a result, I offer some of the most creative and personal cake smash photography in Essex.
Your Cake Smash Photo Shoot is a three-in-one session:
- “Before” studio portraits
- The Cake Smash
- Bathtub splash session to clean up!
I supply all props and decorations for your cake smash photo shoot. You’ll need to bring the cake, but I’m happy to help advise you on this.
My cake smash sessions are fun and relaxed, with only one scheduled per day so that your little one can take as much time as they need to relax and enjoy the session. After all, you only have a first birthday once!

There is a £50 retainer payable on booking to secure your session. This is taken off the cost of your final chosen package. You'll be invited back to the studio around a week after your session, to view your images and make your decision about which package you'd like.

Looking for a Cake Smash without the Cake?
Not everyone is a fan of the messy look! If you’d like a first birthday shoot with all the props and celebrations but WITHOUT the mess, that’s fine.
Just let me know and we’ll create you a themed shoot that still captures all the fun of a birthday session without the cake.
I even have a fake cake so you can get that birthday cake shot without any of the expense or mess of a real cake.
P.S: Plenty of mums choose to include the bathtub session too, even if you haven’t used a cake – it’s usually baby’s favourite part!
